Épidémio Research Project
Project Objectives
Sexual dysfunctions are common among the adult population and are associated with a decrease in the quality of life and sexual-relational satisfaction. However, there is no recent and representative data on the prevalence of sexual dysfunctions in the Quebec population, as well as their sociodemographic correlates
Led by the EROSS Laboratory, the Épidémio project includes two preliminary components before submitting a grant application to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR):
Component 1: Conduct an online cross-sectional survey to estimate the prevalence rates for each sexual dysfunction and the associated sociodemographic factors.
Component 2: Consult clinicians and researchers in sexual health to identify priority areas for obtaining population-based data.
